Day 2

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Arriving in Buenos Aires, you are warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel, where the rhythm of the city begins to reveal itself. Later, set out towards the heart of town and explore Puerto Madero, once a working dock and now a polished waterfront filled with elegant architecture and lively cafés. From here, step aboard a premium boat and glide along the river, enjoying changing views of the skyline and its contrasts. As evening falls, settle into a carefully chosen local restaurant in Puerto Madero, where a refined welcome dinner introduces you to Argentina’s rich flavours and relaxed sophistication.

Day 3

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Begin your day driving along “9 de Julio,” the world’s widest avenue, passing the stunning Colón Theatre. Explore Plaza de Mayo, the city’s historic heart, and admire the Metropolitan Cathedral’s soaring ceilings, stained glass, and marble columns. Wander La Boca’s vibrant Caminito streets, alive with colourful buildings, tango dancers, and artisan shops, and glimpse the iconic Boca Juniors stadium. Stroll Palermo’s leafy parks before reaching Recoleta, home to ornate mausoleums and Eva Perón’s resting place. Enjoy a private wine tasting of rich local varietals. In the evening, immerse yourself in Rojo Tango at the Faena Hotel, where a sumptuous dinner accompanies a mesmerizing tango performance, capturing Argentina’s passion and history.

Day 4

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Today, journey 110 kilometres to San Antonio de Areco, the heart of gaucho traditions in the Pampas. Stroll the cobblestoned streets of this 280-year-old village, discovering artisan shops and historic bars, and visit Draghi’s silversmith museum to meet a local artisan and hear the stories behind their intricate silverwork. Step onto the nearby ranches to witness the gauchos in their element, riding horses, tending cattle, and sharing mate. Admire their traditional attire and learn about their daily life steeped in history. At La Bamba de Areco, one of Argentina’s oldest colonial ranches, enjoy horseback riding or unwind in luxury before savouring a classic asado, a true taste of the Pampas, then return to Buenos Aires.

Day 5

El Calafate, Argentina

Transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to El Calafate, a charming village on the southern shore of Lake Argentino. Nestled between Los Glaciares National Park, a UNESCO natural heritage site and the Patagonian wilds, it is a perfect base for exploring majestic glaciers. Upon arrival, you are welcomed and transferred to your hotel, where the crisp Patagonian air and serene landscapes hint at the natural wonders ahead.

Day 6

El Calafate, Argentina

Head to the entrance of Los Glaciares National Park to witness one of Argentina’s most spectacular natural wonders, the Perito Moreno Glacier. Stretching 30 kilometres long and towering 60 metres high, this advancing glacier moves steadily into Lake Argentino. Stroll along the boardwalks, pausing at viewpoints to marvel at the brilliant blue ice and the thunderous sound as ice chunks calve into the lake. Upon arrival, you are welcomed and taken to the hotel, your comfortable base for exploring this natural wonder.

Day 9

Iguazu National Park, Argentina

Set out from your hotel to explore the Argentinean side of Iguazu National Park. Board a gas-propelled train to reach the Upper Circuit and the awe-inspiring Devil’s Throat, the park’s most dramatic waterfall. Pause at a strategic lookout and feel the power of the cascading waters. Wander along more than three kilometres of trails, through lush rainforest alive with wildlife, encountering waterfalls at every turn. Cross the park towards the Brazilian border, taking in the panoramic views of the Two Sisters, Bozzeti, and San Martin Island, immortalised in the film The Mission, and savour the breath-taking spectacle of nature in full force.

Depart Buenos Aires
