Day 1

Your journey begins

Depart London on your flight to Cairo, gateway to one of the world’s greatest civilisations. On arrival, a private transfer takes you to the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo Nile Plaza, your home for the next three nights. Settle into your Premium Nile View Room and watch the lights of the city flicker across the water as evening descends.

Day 2

Cairo

A full day of discovery awaits as you venture to the legendary Pyramids of Giza and stand before the enigmatic Sphinx. Continue to the Egyptian Museum, where millennia of pharaonic history are preserved in an extraordinary collection of artefacts and royal mummies. A guided lunch introduces you to the bold flavours of traditional Egyptian cuisine.

Day 3

Cairo

Day 4

Cairo to Aswan

Transfer to Cairo airport for your domestic flight south to Aswan. On arrival, check into the legendary Sofitel Legend Old Cataract, perched on a granite ridge above the Nile with sweeping views of Elephantine Island. Spend the afternoon at leisure — take a felucca ride, visit the colourful Nubian markets, or simply relax on the hotel’s storied terrace.

Day 5

Aswan

After a morning exploring Aswan’s ancient quarries and the Unfinished Obelisk, transfer to the port and board the elegant Kemet Dahabeya. Day 6

El Silsila
