Day 1

Your journey begins

Depart London on your overnight flight to Quito, the Ecuadorian capital perched high in the Andes. Cross the Atlantic as you prepare for a fortnight spanning volcanic islands, coastal cities, and mountain citadels.

Day 2

Quito

Arrive in Quito and transfer to the Casa Gangotena Boutique Hotel, a beautifully restored mansion overlooking Plaza San Francisco in the heart of the UNESCO-listed Old Town. Spend the afternoon exploring the cobblestone streets and baroque churches at your own pace.

Day 3

Quito

Enjoy a full day discovering Quito’s highlights, from the gilded Church of La Compania to the panoramic views atop the Basilica del Voto Nacional. Visit the Equatorial Monument and the Intinan Museum, where you can straddle the line between the northern and southern hemispheres.

Day 4

Quito to Galapagos
