Day 2

Siem Reap, Cambodia

Arrive in Siem Reap, where you are warmly met airside and guided smoothly through immigration and customs. Outside the arrivals hall, your guide awaits to escort you into town. The drive introduces Siem Reap’s relaxed rhythm, shaded boulevards and glimpses of daily Cambodian life. Settle in and enjoy time to unwind, letting the tropical air, gentle pace and riverside setting ease you into Cambodia’s welcoming atmosphere.

Day 3

Siem Reap, Cambodia

This morning leads you into the forested foothills of Kulen Mountain to meet the gentle giants of Kulen Elephant Forest. Walk quietly beside retired elephants as they roam freely, observing their natural behaviour in a protected landscape. Watch them bathe, forage and socialise, a powerful and humbling experience rooted in conservation. After a local lunch, return to Siem Reap for an immersive afternoon exploring local shrines, pagodas and markets. In the evening, travel by tuk tuk between handpicked local restaurants, tasting a variety of Khmer dishes and enjoying the lively atmosphere of the town.

Day 4

Siem Reap, Cambodia

Begin before sunrise at Ta Prohm, where jungle vines and ancient stone intertwine in haunting beauty. Breakfast follows near the temples before continuing to Angkor Thom and the mesmerising faces of the Bayon. After lunch, visit APOPO to learn how trained rats help clear landmines, a moving and hopeful story. This morning, travel through rural landscapes to Kampong Khleang, one of the largest communities on Tonle Sap Lake. Glide along quiet waterways lined with tall stilt houses and floating homes, gaining a close look at daily life shaped by the lake’s rising and falling waters. Fishermen at work and children playing offer a genuine view of local life. After lunch, continue your journey to Phnom Penh by flight. On arrival, transfer into the capital, where wide boulevards, riverside views and colonial buildings introduce a city rich in history, contrast and energy.

Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Today explores Phnom Penh’s complex past and vibrant present. Visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields at Cheung Ek, powerful and sobering sites that honour Cambodia’s resilience. After lunch, step into royal elegance at the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, where gilded roofs and sacred treasures reflect enduring tradition. As night falls, hop onto a Vespa for a lively street food adventure, weaving through neighbourhoods to sample local flavours and experience the city as Phnom Penh residents do.

Day 7

Koh Kong, Cambodia

Leave the city behind as you travel west through changing landscapes towards the remote waterways of Koh Kong. A short boat journey brings you to your riverside retreat, hidden within rainforest and mangroves.
