Day 1

Journey begins

Your adventure to Antarctica begins as you fly to Buenos Aires. As you journey south across continents, excitement builds for the remarkable landscapes and rare experiences that await at the edge of the world.

Day 2

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Arriving in Buenos Aires, you are warmly greeted at the airport and transferred privately to your elegant hotel. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. You may choose a gentle introduction to the city with a stroll through the colourful streets of La Boca, explore the grand architecture of Recoleta, or relax at a café in Palermo while watching porteño life unfold.

Day 3

Ushuaia, Argentina

An early morning flight brings you to Ushuaia, a remote town set between jagged peaks and the restless sea. After a private transfer to the port, you board your expedition ship and settle in. By afternoon, you sail through the Beagle Channel, where snow dusted mountains frame calm waters and seabirds glide overhead. As evening falls, the sense of journey deepens at the edge of the world.

Day 4-5

Drake Passage

Crossing the legendary Drake Passage, you follow the wake of early polar explorers. Cool salt air fills the decks as rolling seas stretch to every horizon, with the chance of a fin whale breaking the surface nearby. As you cross the Antarctic Convergence, the ocean changes and life flourishes. Albatrosses glide effortlessly above the waves, joined by petrels and storm birds riding the wind. Days are spent learning from expert guides, watching wildlife, and feeling the growing anticipation of Antarctica ahead.

Day 6-12

Antarctica

Days unfold among Antarctica’s vast silence and sculpted beauty. Snow-streaked peaks rise above broken blue ice as you sail past the Melchior Islands and into the sheltered channels of the Peninsula. Zodiacs glide through Neumayer Channel, while kayaking, snowshoe walks, and gentle climbs reveal an alpine world few ever reach. At Port Lockroy, step ashore at a historic research station and meet curious gentoo penguins. Glide through the Lemaire Channel in search of whales and seals, land at Neko Harbour beneath towering glaciers, and, weather permitting, camp overnight in Paradise Bay for a true polar experience. Each day brings discovery, guided by nature and shaped by the ice.

Day 13-14

Drake Passage

The journey north across the Drake Passage offers time to reflect on your Antarctic adventure. Rolling seas and fresh polar air accompany days on deck, where familiar seabirds once again sweep effortlessly across the sky. Albatrosses and petrels follow the ship, constant companions on this final ocean crossing, as Antarctica slowly fades into memory.

Day 15

Ushuaia, Argentina

Every adventure, no matter how extraordinary, must come to an end. You disembark in Ushuaia, carrying memories of ice, wildlife, and vast horizons. A group transfer takes you to the airport for your flight back to Buenos Aires, where the comfort of a final night in the city awaits before your journey home.

Day 16

Depart Buenos Aires

A private transfer takes you to the airport for your return flight, closing an unforgettable journey from the vibrant streets of Buenos Aires to the icy wilderness of Antarctica. Memories of wildlife, towering glaciers, and endless horizons accompany you home.
