Day 1

Ushuaia, Argentina

Fly to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world. Nestled between snow-capped peaks and the Beagle Channel, this bustling port town feels both remote and alive. Wander along streets lined with colourful buildings, admire the mountains looming above, or pause at a local café to savour handcrafted chocolate. The crisp Patagonian air hints at the icy landscapes ahead, while the town’s warmth and charm make it the perfect introduction to your Antarctic adventure. Most voyages will offer a charter flight package from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia but if they isnt on offer we are more than happy to assist in any neccesary travel arrangements.

Day 2

Embarkation

This afternoon, board your expedition vessel and feel the thrill of setting sail. As the ship glides through the Beagle Channel, turquoise waters wind between rugged peaks of the Tierra del Fuego archipelago. Wildlife may peek from the shoreline, and the crisp southern air fills your lungs. A quiet excitement builds on deck, for once you leave Ushuaia behind, the next land you see will be Antarctica itself. The historic channel fades into the horizon, and the adventure of the world’s southernmost continent begins.

Day 3-4

Drake Passage

This afternoon you step aboard your expedition vessel, the anticipation already humming beneath the surface. As the ship eases into the Beagle Channel, turquoise water threads its way between the jagged peaks of the Tierra del Fuego archipelago. Wildlife may appear along the shore, and the sharp southern air fills your lungs. A quiet, growing excitement settles over the deck, once Ushuaia slips from view, the next land you encounter will be Antarctica. The storied channel fades behind you, and the journey toward the world’s southernmost continent truly begins.

Day 5-8

South Shetland Islands and Antarctic Peninsula

Reaching Antarctica stirs a sense of awe unlike anywhere else. Each day offers something new to discover—glacier‑carved bays, untouched landing sites, and research stations tucked into the vast sweep of snow and ice. Zodiac outings bring you close to lively penguin colonies filled with Adélie, gentoo, and chinstrap penguins, while seals rest on drifting ice and whales rise to the surface nearby. The sharp crack of calving ice and the calls of seabirds break the deep, otherworldly quiet. No two excursions are ever the same, each one thoughtfully led by the Expedition Team and leaving you with unforgettable moments and a profound appreciation for this rare, unspoiled wilderness.

Day 9-10

Drake Passage

As the ship retraces its path across the Drake Passage, take a final deep breath of crisp Antarctic air. Time on deck offers chances to look for wildlife. The Expedition Team’s presentations reflect on your discoveries, sharing insights into wildlife, glaciers, and Antarctic history. Evenings are for quiet reflection or celebrating the moments that made the continent unforgettable. The endless horizon and rolling waves provide a gentle reminder of the vast, remote world you have just explored.

Day 11

Ushuaia, Argentina

Arrive in Ushuaia in the morning, either take a transfer to the airport with for your charter flight or extend your stay so you have time to reflect on the extraordinary experience you just witnessed. Fly back to Buenos Aires, reflecting on your extraordinary Antarctic journey. The city welcomes you back, offering a gentle transition from the icy wilderness to familiar comforts before your journey home.
