Buenos Aires, Argentina
Upon arrival in Buenos Aires, you are warmly welcomed at the international airport and transferred to your hotel to settle in.
Buenos Aires unfolds as a city of passion and elegance, where the rhythm of tango drifts through grand avenues and hidden neighbourhoods. Set along the western shores of the Río de la Plata, the Argentine capital blends colonial architecture with contemporary flair. Day 3
Buenos Aires, Argentina
Your day begins with a panoramic journey through Buenos Aires, travelling along “9 de Julio”, the widest avenue in the world, and passing the magnificent Colón Theatre. In Plaza de Mayo, step inside the Metropolitan Cathedral to admire its soaring interiors before continuing to La Boca, where Caminito’s colourful streets echo with tango music and local life. Drive past the legendary Boca Juniors stadium, the restored docks of Puerto Madero, and the green parks of Palermo, before arriving in elegant Recoleta. Here, explore the historic Recoleta Cemetery, final resting place of Eva Perón. As night falls, immerse yourself in Argentine tradition with a tango lesson, followed by a refined dinner and a passionate live tango and Andean music performance in San Telmo.

Day 4
El Calafate, Argentina
At the scheduled time, you transfer to the airport for your flight south to El Calafate. On arrival, you are welcomed and taken to your hotel on the shores of Lake Argentino. This charming Patagonian town sits near Los Glaciares National Park, a UNESCO natural heritage site, and feels like a true gateway to ice and wilderness.

Day 5
El Calafate, Argentina
Set out early for Punta Bandera harbour and embark on a boat cruise through floating icebergs, with the awe-inspiring western face of Upsala Glacier stretching before you. Glide along Cristina Channel to reach Estancia Cristina, a historic ranch where nature, adventure, and heritage converge.
Adventure awaits on all-terrain vehicles as you ascend a 9.5-kilometre mountain track to the Continental Ice Shelter. A short walk leads to a panoramic viewpoint revealing the eastern front of Upsala Glacier, Guillermo Lake, the southern Patagonian Ice Field, and the Andes. Return to the ranch to explore its museum, chapel, and pioneer buildings, with time to savour a leisurely lunch amid this striking landscape.

Day 6
El Calafate, Argentina
Journey into the heart of Los Glaciares National Park as you drive 50 miles from El Calafate to witness one of Argentina’s most extraordinary natural wonders: the Perito Moreno Glacier. Stretching 19 miles long, 3 miles wide, and towering 197 ft. high, this advancing glacier slowly calves into the turquoise waters of Lake Argentino. Stroll along the network of boardwalks, pausing at viewpoints to marvel at the shifting ice walls and the deep, vibrant blues that glint in the sunlight. After a day of awe and wonder, return to El Calafate, carrying the memory of this magnificent, ever-moving frozen world.

Ushuaia, Argentina
Transfer to the airport for your flight south to Ushuaia, the world’s southernmost city. On arrival, you are welcomed and taken to your hotel, set against the snowcapped Martial Mountains and the shimmering waters of the Beagle Channel.
Begin your exploration with a panoramic tour of Ushuaia, tracing Maipú Avenue and the historic La Misión neighbourhood, home to the city’s first settlers. Drive through the Brown and Solier districts, where early 20th-century immigrants shaped the city, and visit the End of the World Museum to uncover the region’s history, indigenous cultures, and intriguing local wildlife. Step inside the “End of the World” penitentiary, once housing up to 800 convicts, now home to the Maritime Museum, offering fascinating insights into Tierra del Fuego and Antarctica’s maritime heritage.

Day 8
Ushuaia, Argentina
Venture from Ushuaia to explore the extraordinary Tierra del Fuego National Park, a wild sanctuary of lenga, ñire, and cohiue forests, dotted with sparkling lakes, rivers, and lagoons. Embarkation
At the appointed time, you are transferred to the pier to begin your Patagonian adventure. After check-in at Tolkeyen Patagonia Turismo, board the ship at 6:00 PM and gather on the fifth deck for a welcome toast, meeting the Captain and crew. As evening falls, the vessel sets sail through the legendary Beagle Channel and the Strait of Magellan, gliding past the dramatic landscapes of Tierra del Fuego and into the remote, wild south.

Cape Horn and Wulaia Bay, Chile
Sail through the Murray Channel and Nassau Bay to reach Cape Horn National Park, where, weather permitting, you can step ashore at one of the southernmost points on Earth. Feel the raw power of the winds and waves, surrounded by legends and the untamed beauty of this remote corner of the world.
In the afternoon, disembark at Wulaia Bay, once home to a major settlement of the native Yagans canoeists. Wander through the lush Magellanic forest, where towering lengas, coigües, and canelos mingle with ferns, and pause at a viewpoint to take in the serene waters and the wild, pristine landscape.

Pia Glacier and Porter Glacier, Chile
In the morning, sail along the northwest arm of the Beagle Channel to reach Pia Fjord, where a short hike brings you to a viewpoint overlooking the Pia Glacier. Its majestic peak stretches from the mountain tops down to the sea, a stunning display of ice and rock.

Aguila Glacier and Condor Glacier, Chile
In the morning, navigate the Cockburn Channel into Agostini Sound, where glaciers tumble from the heart of the Darwin Mountain Range, some reaching the sea in spectacular cascades.
After breakfast, step ashore via Zodiac boats to explore a lagoon formed by the melting Aguila Glacier, surrounded by pristine wilderness. Magdalena Island and Punta Arenas, Chile
At first light, disembark at Magdalena Island, weather permitting, to witness a lively colony of Magellanic penguins in their natural habitat. During September and April, this landing is replaced by Marta Island, where South American sea lions can be glimpsed from Zodiac boats.
By midday, arrive in Punta Arenas and transfer to your hotel. Spend the afternoon exploring this southern gateway to Antarctica and Patagonia, perhaps kayaking along the Magellan Straits, hiking through untouched landscapes, or learning about the region’s indigenous communities.
