Day 2

Hanoi, Vietnam

Touch down in Hanoi, where Vietnam’s rich history and modern rhythm intertwine. Upon arrival, you are warmly welcomed by a local representative, who assists you through priority immigration formalities before escorting you to baggage claim and onward to meet your private guide. A comfortable transfer brings you into the heart of the city, offering a first glimpse of Hanoi’s leafy boulevards, lakeside vistas, and elegant French colonial facades. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, wandering nearby streets, enjoying a café by the water, or simply absorbing the city’s unique energy.

Day 3

Hanoi, Vietnam

Step into the soul of Hanoi, where history and daily life intertwine. Begin at Ba Dinh Square, visiting Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and stilt house, then admire the One Pillar Pagoda rising from its lotus pond. Choose a cultural insight at the Women’s Museum, Hoa Lo Prison, or Fine Arts Museum. After lunch, explore the Temple of Literature and stroll the bustling Old Quarter. End with a serene experience at a tea house, learning the delicate art of lotus tea from a master artisan as its fragrant aroma fills the room.

Day 4

Halong Bay, Vietnam

Paddle through Cua Van Floating Village, relax with a herbal foot treatment, or enjoy the pool as the cruise drifts past emerald waters. As sunset arrives, sip cocktails with gourmet canapés, followed by a BBQ dinner against the stunning limestone backdrop. End the day with starlit meditation or squid fishing under the night sky.

Day 6

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Begin the morning with a final walking meditation in Tien Ong Cave, followed by a relaxed breakfast. Enjoy a 40-minute wellness treatment or witness a traditional Tea Ceremony as Halong Bay glows at sunrise. Disembark from Bhaya Soul and transfer to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, a private transfer brings you to your central hotel, where the city’s mix of colonial elegance, vibrant streets, and rich history awaits to be explored at your leisure.

Day 7

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Begin with breakfast before journeying to the remarkable Cu Chi Tunnels. Explore the underground network that sheltered and sustained Viet Cong fighters, gaining insight into life during wartime. Return to Saigon via a scenic 1.5-hour private speedboat, stopping for a riverside lunch of inventive Vietnamese cuisine. In the afternoon, wander the city’s historic landmarks: the former Presidential Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the colonial Post Office. Browse Ben Thanh Market for souvenirs before enjoying a refreshment at Marou Marou. Day 8

Embarkation

Meet at a central point in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer by air-conditioned coach to Marina My Tho, where Aqua Mekong awaits. Step aboard your floating sanctuary, with floor-to-ceiling windows framing the river’s ever-changing vistas. Relax in your suite while the Mekong drifts past, revealing villages, floating markets, and lush riverbanks.

Day 9

Mekong River – My An Hung, Vietnam

Begin the day at Binh Thanh mat weaving village to bike through local markets, fruit plantations, and fish farms. Guests can also take it slow and opt to visit Sa Dec where we will peruse the vibrant markets with our chef, along with a visit to the Lover House and Kien An Cung. Afterwards, return to Aqua Mekong for a cooking demonstration followed by a scrumptious lunch. In the afternoon, we visit a typical Mekong Delta village called My An Hung where we will walk through verdant plantations. We will be invited to a local's home to taste local fruits while hearing traditional folk songs performed by villagers, followed by a unique Unicorn dance. A 17-kilometer biking option is also available for those who wish to explore the countryside on wheels.

Day 10

Mekong River – border crossing

Glide along the Bassac Canal by skiff to the bustling border town of Chau Doc. Hop on a rickshaw called “xe loi” for a charming ride through local streets and markets before visiting Long Son Pagoda atop Sam Mountain, where monks share insights into Mahayana Buddhist traditions. Return through the lively morning market or choose an 18-kilometre bike ride on Long Khanh Island, weaving past paddy fields and village life. After lunch, unwind by the pool or indulge in a traditional Khmer massage as the vessel crosses into Cambodia.

Day 11

Mekong River – Koh Oknha Tei, Cambodia

Drift along the Mekong as Khmer artisans dye and weave kroma, the traditional fabric central to local life. Cycle along riverbanks past stilted thatch houses and serene Buddhist temples, while white oxen graze in the shallow waters. After lunch, hop into skiffs and glide to Preah Prosop, a timeless village shaded by tamarind trees, where generations continue their quiet, enduring way of life.

Day 12

Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Explore Cambodia’s vibrant capital by tuk-tuk, visiting the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, and the National Museum, home to the world’s largest collection of Khmer art. For those interested, we visit the Tuol Sleng Museum of Genocide or explore the bustling stalls of the Russian Market. After these experiences, disembark in Phnom Penh and take a complimentary flight to Siem Reap, where your local guide will welcome you. Begin your temple journey at Angkor Wat, a 12th-century masterpiece dedicated to Vishnu, adorned with intricate bas-reliefs and over 2,000 Apsara dancers. Conclude the day with a refined Cambodian dinner at Malis Restaurant.

Day 13

Siem Reap, Cambodia

Awaken early to witness the sun rise over Angkor Wat, as golden light slowly illuminates its iconic five towers—a truly unforgettable sight. After breakfast, explore Ta Prohm, the ‘Tomb Raider Temple,’ where ancient ruins intertwine with jungle roots, creating a photographer’s dream. Journey onward to Angkor Thom, entering through the majestic South Gate lined with stone guardians. Discover Bayon Temple with its enigmatic smiling faces, then stroll along the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. Conclude with a late lunch at Sala Kdei Restaurant before returning to your hotel.

Day 14

Bangkok, Thailand

After a private transfer to Siem Reap Airport, fly to Bangkok. Upon arrival, a local guide welcomes you and escorts you to your city-centre hotel. Settle into your elegant accommodation and enjoy some leisure time to relax, unwind, and begin soaking in the vibrant energy of Thailand’s capital.

Bangkok, Thailand

After breakfast, dive into Bangkok’s vibrant energy with a choice of half-day experiences. Marvel at the gilded splendour of the Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew, and the Golden Buddha at Wat Traimit. Glide along the Chao Phraya River and Thonburi canals, wander bustling Chinatown streets, or immerse yourself in rural life along Mahasawat Klong. For culinary enthusiasts, join a hands-on cooking class at Sabieng Thai Cooking School, or explore hidden neighbourhoods and cultural gems on the Urban Pulse tour. Evening options include a tuk-tuk food adventure or a Thai cultural bar experience, adding spice to your day.

Depart Bangkok

After breakfast, transfer with your guide to Bangkok Airport for your return flight.
