MS Maud

About MS Maud

MS Maud is an expedition ship holding no more than 528-guests designed to provide sustainable expeditions in comfort. The vessel features innovative technology, low emission engines and stunning panoramic views whilst sailing to some of the world’s most breathtaking destinations, including the Arctic Circle, Norwegian Fjords and Scandinavia.

MS Maud has four accommodation options: Polar Inside, Polar Outside, Arctic Superior, and Expedition Suite. All rooms onboard include various design features, services, and amenities; The Arctic Superior Suites benefit from separate seating areas, while the larger Expedition Suites have seating areas, a minibar, and coffee-making facilities.

The dining options on MS Maud consist of three restaurants. Restaurant Aune is the main dining room serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, whilst Fredheim is an informal dining area offering a variety of casual fast food and plant-based alternatives. The ship’s speciality dining option is Lindstrom, which serves gourmet cuisine throughout lunch and dinner for those seeking fine dining and is named after Polar Hero and Amundsen Chef Adolf Lindstrom.

MS Maud boasts a spacious deck area, providing guests with a large seating area, an outdoor bar and two hot tubs. Should you wish to stay active while on board, a small yet well-equipped fitness centre and sauna are available.

The onboard science centre is the hub of educational entertainment where all guests and crew meet to learn about the destinations featured on the itinerary. These lectures are streamed to all cabins and suites for your comfort. In addition to the science centre, the library is also a perfect place to sit and read a good book or watch the world go by as you sail in between destinations.

MS Maud is a more sustainable vessel equipped with the latest onboard technology and battery pack, supporting its engines and significantly reducing its carbon footprint. Additionally, it sources power from land whilst in port, eliminating shoreside emissions further.
