MV Victory
About MV Victory
MV Victory I and MV Victory II are sister-ships built 3 years apart. Offering capacity for 210 guests across five decks, they have been purpose-built for navigating a comfortable passage across North America’s Great Lakes, the St Lawrence Seaway and coastal New England.
There are three different grades of accommodation on MV Victory I and II. Two of the grades are staterooms which differ depending on their location on the ship. The third grade is the spacious Owner’s Suite. All of the accommodation onboard is comfortable and provides the perfect environment for relaxation following a busy day exploring ashore.
Where dining is concerned, there are two restaurants available on MV Victory I and II. The ship’s main restaurant is the Shearwater Dining Room, which is an elegant venue open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The cuisine here is regionally influenced and served at your table.
The second restaurant is the Cliff Rock Bar & Grille. More informal than the Shearwater Dining Room, this restaurant specialises in ‘hot rock’ dishes whereby you choose your ingredients and then watch them being cooked to your liking over volcanic rock.
The entertainment onboard MV Victory I and MV Victory II is largely defined by the route or river you are exploring and primarily consists of educational talks from guest speakers. These fascinating talks are designed to give you greater understanding of the history and culture of each port of call on your itinerary.
At other times, you can choose to enjoy a drink and catch-up with friends in the English-style Seascape Tavern, or go for some after-dinner cocktails in The Compass Lounge.
During the day, the ships’ Observation Lounge and Sun Deck not only provides fantastic views of the passing coastlines but also ample cushioned seating on which to relax with a good book. Alternatively, you can also head to the Latitude Salon and Spa should you be looking to renew yourself with one of the many beauty treatments available.
