You will embark RV Angkor Pandaw is Hoa Binh and she will remain here for the first few days of your expedition cruise. This will allow you ample time to explore the museum and local village and enjoy an evening of traditional song and dance from the local hill tribe people.
Day three will bring the Da River and you’ll pass the Ba Vi National Park before arriving at Trung Ha.
Viet Tri is offered on day four and here you can visit the UNESCO village of Duong Lam.
Day five and six offer cruising along the Low Red River and you can visit the village of Gia Thanh, the Hung Lo Temple and the Thay and Tay Phuong Pagodas that date from the 8th and 11th century.
RV Angkor Pandaw will arrive in Hanoi on day seven, so guests can enjoy the atmosphere of this bustling city and everything it has on offer, including the Vietnam war prison and temple of literature.
The morning of day eight will be spent cruising the Thai Binh Rivers before an afternoon boat ride to Stork’s Island – a well-maintained bird sanctuary.
Day nine brings the Bach Dang Rivers but first a visit to the Thanh Ha Commune. RV Angkor Pandaw will then sail for Halong Bay, arriving just in time for the sunset.
Halong Bay is where you will spend the remainder of your time and where you can enjoy sailing through its 2,000 dramatic limestone islands.
